CORAL GABLES, Fla. -  Miami travels to Atlanta for the ACC season opener against Georgia Tech on Jan. 5 at 2:30 p.m. in McCamish Pavilion. 

Miami is 9-6 all-time against Georgia Tech, with the series dating back to the 1952-53 campaign. The Canes are 5-2 against the Yellow Jackets at home and 4-4 on the road. The last matchup was on March 8, 2012, a 54-36 Hurricanes victory in the ACC Tournament.
