Lindsay Bohlen is in her third year as a member of the Hurricanes' football operations staff. She was promoted to Assistant Director of Operations / Recruiting in June 2014. She joined the football staff in May 2011 as the Coordinator of Football Operations.
Prior to her role in operations, Bohlen worked as an administrative assistant to head football coach Al Golden and to Senior Associate AD Chris Freet from 2010-12. Outside of her job at The U, Bohlen also works at the IMG/Sony Ericsson Open in Miami and for ESPN at the NBA Finals, Super Bowl, Monday Night Football and NCAA Championships.
Within the communications department at UM, she oversaw the production and distribution of media credentials for football, basketball, and baseball, as well as coordinated general business office activities. She also supervised the oversight of student interns and event staff. She also managed and executed sales for Miami Hurricanes online jersey and memorabilia auctions.
In June 2008, Bohlen became a ticket operations intern for the Boston College Department of Athletics. While there she would handle all facets of customer service, be accountable for daily and event reconciliation, and assist athletic development with the selling of donor based seating.
After her year at Boston College, Bohlen would become the senior accounting assistant at the University of Miami. Within four months, she would be promoted to the position of senior accountant, where she oversaw accounting of donations to the University's athletic department. For two years, beginning in November 2006, Bohlen was the accountant/financial analyst for the Immune Disease Institute in Boston, Mass. While there she was responsible for the reporting, financial analysis, fiscal administration, and policy compliance on $40 million of post-award grant activities and the annual A-133 grant audit.
In August 2005, Bohlen started as a fund accountant at State Street Bank & Trust, Inc. located in Boston. As a fund accountant, she was responsible for producing and verifying financial statements, updating shareholders activity and maintaining daily accrual activities. Within nine months, she was promoted to senior fund accountant where her responsibilities included the day-to-day operations of complex mutual funds and monitoring daily and monthly work for several fund accountants.
Bohlen received her bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Vermont in 2004 and her master's degree in sport leadership from Northeastern University in 2009.
