Stephen Pugh is in his second year as Assistant Director of Marketing for the University of Miami, coordinating the marketing and promotional efforts for the Hurricanes baseball, women's soccer, men's tennis and rowing programs.
He previously served as the athletics marketing associate at James Madison University in 2010, where he was responsible for the marketing efforts of eight of the Dukes' Olympic sport programs, in addition to overseeing the Kids Club program.
Prior to that, Pugh worked in Minor League Baseball as the assistant general manager of the Greeneville Astros, the rookie league affiliate of the Houston Astros. During his time there, he was a graduate of the Major League Baseball Scout Development Program. Previously, he spent five years working in different capacities with the Round Rock Express Baseball Club in Round Rock, Texas.
A native of Hershey, Pa., Pugh graduated from the University of Texas in 2005 with a degree in finance.
