Monday ProCanes Report: Rolle Picks Up Giants
The Monday Morning ProCanes report will weed through all the NFL highlights and news to bring you the information you care about the most... what the former University of Miami Hurricanes did during the week prior. New York Giants' safety Antrel Rolle helped guide his team to a big win at Candlestick Park, reeling in his first two interceptions of the season and ensuring a third pick of San Francisco quarterback Alex Smith with some veteran advice to a fellow defensive back.
Antrel Rolle (New York Giants) - six tackles, two interceptions
The seventh-year Pro Cane guided the Giants to a dominant defensive performance, picking off two passes and holding 49ers signal-caller Alex Smith to only 200 yards through the air. With his team-best six tackles on Sunday, Rolle increased his team lead in the category to 35 takedowns on the season. Rolle, who had yet to record an interception before Sunday, was eager to credit his teammates and coaches in his postgame commentary.

Andre Johnson (Houston Texans) - eight catches, 75 yards
Despite his team's lopsided 42-24 loss to Green Bay on Sunday Night Football, the veteran wideout topped the 10,000-yard mark for his career with a 75-yard performance against the Packers. Johnson, who needed only 128 games to accomplish the feat, reached the milestone in the sixth-fastest timespan in league history. The five-time Pro Bowler became only the 38th player to ever reach 10,000 yards on a 15-yard pass in the fourth quarter.
Olivier Vernon (Miami Dolphins) - four tackles, two sacks
The rookie passrusher keyed a game-winning defensive stand for the Dolphins, taking down quarterback Sam Bradford on third down to force the Rams into an unsuccessful 66-yard field goal attempt. The sack, his second of the game, would prove to be the difference-maker for a Dolphins' defense in need of a big play. Vernon was singled out by head coach Joe Philbin after the game, and also drew praise from fellow defensive end Cameron Wake for his strong performance.
