Hurricanes Host Annual Fantasy Camp

CORAL GABLES, Fla. - The University of Miami women's basketball team held its annual Hurricanes Fantasy Camp Monday night at the Fieldhouse on campus.

The two-hour event featured players young and old, as well as celebrity appearances from women's tennis coach Paige Yaroshuk-Tews, men's tennis coach Mario Rincon and women's golf coach Patti Rizzo

The event, which was free to the public, was led by the team and coaching staff that took campers through basketball fundamentals, drills, team building techniques and more.

Campers capped off their night with games, as well as photo opportunities alongside Hurricanes head coach Katie Meier and Sebastian. Attendees also had the opportunity to purchase season tickets in anticipation for the upcoming season.

You can catch the Hurricanes on the hardwood beginning on Nov. 5, in an exhibition against Nova Southeastern. Miami will open up their regular season schedule on Nov. 9, when they take on visiting North Florida.
