HONOLULU, Hawaii  (AP) -- Mark Lyons scored 19 points, and No. 4 Arizona defeated Miami 69-50 on Sunday night at the Diamond Head Classic.

Nick Johnson had 12 points, and Kevin Parrom added 11 points and eight rebounds for the Wildcats (11-0). It was the 200th career win for Arizona coach Sean Miller.

After a close game early with several ties and lead changes, Arizona took a 14-point lead toward the end of the first half and pulled further away in the second.

Miami went scoreless for a four-minute stretch of the second half. Arizona scored 10 points during the drought to take a 26-point lead with less than three minutes remaining.

Arizona shot 48.1 percent (25 of 52) for the game, including 44 percent from 3-point range. Miami made only five 3-pointers, two in the second half.

Kenny Kadji led the Hurricanes (8-2) with 19 points, taking nearly half of his team's shots. Durand Scott scored 15 points.

A putback dunk from Kaleb Tarczewski gave Arizona a 16-point lead seven minutes into the second half. Tarczewski scored eight points and had 13 of Arizona's 46 rebounds. Miami, who was without center Reggie Johnson, had only 20 rebounds. Johnson, who averages a double-double for Miami, has missed the last two games with a thumb injury. 

Miami next faces Indiana State at 2:30 p.m. HST (7:30 p.m. ET) on Dec. 25.

Game Notes
Starters for Miami: Shane Larkin, Durand Scott, Rion Brown, Kenny Kadji and Julian Gamble. This is the second-straight game Coach L has used this lineup. 

Kenny Kadji scored 13 of Miami’s 25 first-half points on 6-8 shooting.  Kadji ended the game with 19 points, a season high, and four rebounds.

Durand Scott added 15 points, two steals and three rebounds for Miami. 

Shane Larkin racked up six steals, matching his career high, against Arizona. Larkin had three in the first half. Larkin scored 10 points, draining a pair of 3-pointers.
