CORAL GABLES, Fla. - After a three-week absence, the University of Miami women's basketball team returned to the Associated Press Poll released Monday, coming in at No. 24.
The Hurricanes have started 3-0 in ACC play for just the second time since joining the league in 2004 and own a 12-2 overall mark. The two losses have come to Tennessee and at Rutgers.
Miami has won 10 consecutive home games and have been victorious in 51 of its last 52 games played inside BankUnited Center. Overall, the Canes have won five straight contests.
Sunday's game against Virginia was the end of a five-game home set and now UM goes on the road to face No. 10 Maryland on Thursday and No. 18 Florida State on Sunday.
