#SuperBowlU: Reed, Lewis, McKinnie are Champs

NEW ORLEANS - #ProCanes Ed Reed, Ray Lewis and Bryant McKinnie are now Super Bowl XLVII Champions after the Baltimore Ravens capped a magical season Sunday night with a 34-31 victory over the San Francisco 49ers at the Mercedes-Benz Louisiana Superdome.

The Super Bowl title put the finishing touches on Lewis' Pro Football Hall of Fame-worthy career, winning his second Super Bowl title with the Ravens. Lewis finished with seven tackles in his final NFL game. His retirement comes at the end of a 17-year career in which he spent all 17 seasons with the Baltimore Ravens.

Reed, playing in front of his family and friends in his hometown of New Orleans, and McKinnie earned their first Super Bowl titles with the win. Reed finished with five tackles and an interception, becoming the first player to intercept a San Francisco 49ers QB in six Super Bowl appearances.

McKinnie played all 71 snaps for the Baltimore offense. Lewis and Reed each played all 62 snaps on defense.

With Baltimore's win, former Miami Hurricanes have accumulated 61 Super Bowl rings. Also receiving a ring for the Ravens' victory will be Damien Berry and Tommy Streeter, who were both on injured reserve during the postseason.

In all, 106 #ProCanes have played in 47 Super Bowls. On the other side of the ball, Tavares Gooden and Frank Gore made their career-first Super Bowl appearances with the 49ers.
