The Miami Hurricanes took their spring practice on the road Saturday, holding their first spring scrimmage at Traz Powell Stadium.
Saturday's latest installment of the Canes Spring Football Report features highlights of the Canes' first scrimmage, as well as interviews with head coach Al Golden and several Miami Hurricanes. More than 2,000 fans flocked to Traz Powell for Miami's 90-minute scrimmage, which simulated different game situations, including goal-line and red-zone scenarios.
The Canes return to the GreenTree Practice Fields on Tuesday for their eighth practice session of the spring, followed by practice on Thursday. Miami will take its next scrimmage on the road again, as the Canes will host a scrimmage Friday, April 5 (7 p.m.) at Naples High School in Naples.
