Three days after holding their first spring scrimmage, the Miami Hurricanes returned to the GreenTree Practice Fields for spring practice Tuesday morning. It was Miami's first practice since Saturday's spring scrimmage at Traz Powell Stadium.
Tuesday's latest installment of the Canes Spring Football Report features linebackers coach Micheal Barrow and focuses on the Canes' linebacking corps. The Canes return veterans in Jimmy Gaines, Denzel Perryman, Thurston Armbrister, Raphael Kirby, Gabe Terry and Tyrone Cornileus. The one of top performers from Saturday's scrimmage was freshman Alex Figueroa.
The Canes return to the GreenTree Practice Fields on Thursday for their ninth practice session of the spring. Miami will take its next scrimmage on the road again, as the Canes will host a scrimmage Friday, April 5 (7 p.m.) at Naples High School in Naples.
