CORAL GABLES, Fla. -- Head coach Katie Meier and the women's basketball team released its non-conference schedule yesterday via the program's Twitter and Instagram pages. For those that missed it, a look at each of the team's 2013-14 opponents is below.

Nov. 8, 2013 | Miami vs. North Florida | BankUnited Center
The Hurricanes will open their non-conference schedule Friday, Nov. 8 with a matchup against North Florida at the BankUnited Center. Miami is 2-0 all-time against the Ospreys, with the last contest in 2012 resulting in an 77-24 win. The first time the two teams played was in 2009 when the Canes beat UNF 80-36. North Florida went 12-19 last season and 7-11 in Atlantic Sun Conference play last season.
Nov. 10, 2013 | Miami vs. Richmond | BankUnited Center
Two days after their home opener, the Canes will face Richmond for the second consecutive season. Last year the Hurricanes traveled to Richmond and beat the Spiders 69-63. Miami is 2-0 all-time against Richmond, with the other victory coming in 2003 when the Canes beat the Spiders 80-73. The Spiders finished 16-16 overall in 2012-13 and 6-8 in conference play.
Nov. 15, 2013 | Miami vs. Middle Tennessee | BankUnited Center
For just the second time in program history and the first since 1980, Miami will face off against Middle Tennessee. The Canes have a 1-0 record against the Blue Raiders all-time, with the lone victory coming on December 30, 1980 when Miami won by a six-point margin. The Blue Raiders are coming off a very successful 25-8 season in which they won the Sun Belt Conference. Middle Tennessee fell in the first round of the NCAA Tournament to eventual national runner-up Louisville.
Nov. 19, 2013 | Miami at Oakland | Rochester, Mich.
Miami will hit the road for the first time in 2013 when they travel to Rochester, Mich., to play Oakland for the second time in history. Miami holds a 1-0 series lead between the schools, with the last game coming in 2005 when the Canes won, 78-65. Oakland finished the 2012-13 season with an overall record of 9-20 and finished 3-13 in the Horizon League.
Nov. 25, 2013 | Miami vs. Yale | BankUnited Center
When the Hurricanes return home from Michigan, they will square off against Yale less than a week later. The Hurricanes and the Bulldogs have played one time in history, which the Canes won 75-46 back in 2001. Yale had an overall record of 13-15 in 2012-13 and 8-6 in the Ivy League.
 Nov. 29, 2013 - Nov. 30, 2013 | Thanksgiving Tournament | BankUnited Center
The Hurricanes’ annual Thanksgiving Tournament this year will include St. Francis (NY), Missouri, and Hartford. Miami will open up with a game against St. Francis on the first day of the tournament and will play either Missouri or Hartford the following day. The Nov. 29 game against St. Francis will be the first game in history between the two schools. Miami has played one game against Missouri in which the Canes won 82-81 back in 1976. Miami is a little more familiar with Hartford, having played two games within the last 10 years against the school. Miami beat the Hawks 82-62 in 2005 after falling to them 63-53 the previous season.
 Dec. 5, 2013 | Miami at Minnesota | Minneapolis, Minn. | ACC-Big Ten Challenge
The Canes will participate in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge for the fifth time this year when the team travels to Minneapolis, Minn. to take on the Golden Gophers of the University of Minnesota. Miami is 2-2 in ACC-Big Ten Challenge games, with two consecutive wins coming against Penn State in 2012 and Michigan State in 2011. The Hurricanes have played the Gophers three times in history and trail 2-1 in the series between the two schools. The Hurricanes won the first game by a score of 77-64 back in 1986. The following year, playing at Minnesota, Miami fell 76-72, and most recently, in 2001, the Gophers left Coral Gables with an 80-65 victory. As a program, Minnesota has made eight NCAA Tournament appearances and reached the Final Four in 2004.
Dec. 15, 2013 | Miami vs. Coppin State | BankUnited Center
Following the ACC-Big Ten Challenge, Miami will head back home for a game against Coppin State. The Hurricanes are 3-0 all-time against the Eagles, having most recently won 60-54 in 2006-07. Prior to that, in 2004-05, Miami beat Coppin State by 10 and in 1998-99 sent the Eagles home with a 97-68 loss.
Dec. 21, 2013 | Miami at Arizona State | Tempe, Ariz.
With six days between games, Miami will then travel to Tempe, Ariz., for a marquee non-conference game against Arizona State of the Pac-12 Conference. This will be just the second time the two schools have squared off against each other. In the first meeting, the Sun Devils edged out the Hurricanes 78-74 in Tempe. Arizona State finished 13-18 overall in 2012-13 and just 5-13 in Pac-12 play, but the Sun Devils have made the NCAA Tournament five times --the most recent coming in 2010.
 Dec. 28, 2013 - Dec. 29, 2013 | Holiday Tournament | BankUnited Center
The Hurricanes will host their second tournament of the season just three days after Christmas, starting on Dec. 28. Miami will welcome Morgan State, Western Carolina, and New Mexico in for the two-day tournament. The Canes will open up with Morgan State on Dec. 28. Miami has played one game against Morgan State previously (2010), which resulted in a 74-47 Canes win. On Dec. 29, the Hurricanes will play either Western Carolina or New Mexico. Miami and New Mexico met each other in the 2003 NCAA Tournament in which the Lobos came away with an overtime victory.
 Jan. 1, 2014 | Miami vs.Penn | BankUnited Center
The Hurricanes will wrap up their non-conference schedule at home against Penn, a first-time opponent for the Canes.  In 2012-13, Penn finished 18-13 and 9-5 in the Ivy League. In program history the Quakers have made two NCAA Tournament appearances, most recently in 2004.
