The Monday ProCanes report will weed through all the NFL highlights and news to bring you the information you care about the most... what the former Hurricanes did during the week prior. The University of Miami continued its impressive pipeline to the professional ranks with a nation-best total of 18 former players advancing to the postseason. Three ProCanes scored touchdowns on the final day of the regular season: New Orleans' linebacker Jonathan Vilma and tight end Jimmy Graham, as well as San Francisco 49ers' Pro Bowl running back Frank Gore.

Frank Gore (San Francisco 49ers) - 20 carries, 68 yards, one touchdown
The 49ers' eighth-year running back continued to build on his legacy in San Francisco, recording his franchise-record 51st touchdown in his team's 27-13 win over division rival Arizona. Gore, who now owns the franchise records in carries (1,911), rushing yards (8.839) and touchdowns, was recently named to his fourth Pro Bowl after a standout season for the NFC West champions. With their 11-4-1 record, the 49ers earned a first-round bye, and will wait until next weekend to find their first postseason opponent.
Video Highlights: Another Record

Greg Olsen
(Carolina Panthers) - four catches, 43 yards
In his first year as the feature tight end for quarterback Cam Newton and the Carolina offense, Greg Olsen proved his worth by setting the franchise record for receiving yards by a tight end. The Wayne, N.J., native finished the season with personal-best marks of 69 catches and 843 receiving yards. Olsen played a pivotal role in his team's four-game winning streak to end the season, recording 19 catches for 207 yards over that span. The Panthers ended the season in second place in the NFC South, missing out on the playoffs.

Andre Johnson
(Houston Texans) - 12 catches, 141 yards
The Texans' 10th-year wide out wrapped up arguably the best season of his career with a standout performance in Houston's loss to Indianapolis. Johnson, who recorded 12 catches and 141 yards in the game, notched his sixth 100-yard game of the season to finish the year with a personal-best mark of 1,598 receiving yards. Though he recorded four touchdowns on the season, Johnson joined Colts' legend Marvin Harrison as only the second receiver in NFL history with three 100-catch, 1500-yard seasons to his name.
