Hurricane Athletics Partners with Tagboard

CORAL GABLES, Fla. - As part of an ongoing effort to better connect Hurricanes fans nationwide, the University of Miami Department of Athletics has partnered with Tagboard to integrate social media sites into one dynamic display. The innovative company will help Miami feature passionate Canes fans who use the #IStandWithTheU hashtag in their Twitter, Facebook or Instagram posts.

Tagboard strives to "give people a better experience for discovery and interaction of social content." This mission will serve all fans of @HurricaneSports, including both social media power users as well as newcomers to online communities.

UM is one of only three NCAA athletic departments to offer Tagboard's platform. The technology will be implemented immediately into HurricaneSports.com and will be used in future game promotions, features and contests held by the department of athletics.
